Our Story
Colorado Music Foundation was founded in August 2023 by Zach Gilliam, a longtime musician, talent buyer, and event producer based in Eagle, Colorado.
After years as a full-time touring musician, Zach found himself looking toward the next chapter and asking a bigger question: What kind of legacy can I leave behind, and how can a life in music create a positive impact beyond the stage?
The answer came at the crossroads of his experience, skills, and passion for music.
Colorado Music Foundation was created to turn that experience into opportunity for others—giving emerging Colorado artists more stages to perform on while putting instruments and music education into the hands of the next generation.
At its core, CMF is about legacy: supporting the artists shaping Colorado’s music scene today and helping build the next wave of Colorado musicians for tomorrow.
